We grow in our relationship with God by worshipping regularly with the Body of Christ, by seeking God through personal devotions and spiritual disciplines, and by growing in Christ’s likeness both inside and out.

Each Sunday we gather to worship together as a congregation in a variety of styles from traditional to contemporary.  We desire to express our love for God through worship in song, giving, communion, and the teaching of the Word.  For those attending with young children we offer nursery for children ages four and under, and family tables and busy bags at the back of the sanctuary.

At First United Methodist Church, music and the arts are vital parts of the worship experience. We offer a variety of musical opportunities.  Our vocal choir, the Sanctuary Singers choir is led by Jenn Pedersen and leads worship twice monthly.  Our bell choir, the Alleluia Ringers is led by Jan Randall and shares monthly.  Whether you are a singer or instrumentalist, prefer traditional or contemporary music, enjoy communicating truth through the arts, drama or prefer working behind the scenes with tech, we encourage you to share your gifts and join us for fellowship, fun rehearsals and meaningful worship!
